A belated Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to all my bear lovin' friends. I am once again amazed at how quickly the past year flew by and now 2008 is well under way. Altho I had great intentions for 2007, time once again got the better of me. I managed to actually design one new pattern and do a workshop for Bear Essence in Boronia.
My New Year's Resolutions are:
· More patterns
· More bears for sale
· More cloth dolls
· Keep my website current
Many of you are aware that my courageous mother passed away from cancer in Feb 2007 following the passing of my adorable father a scant 18 months earlier. It has been hard to stay focused during these times of bereavement, but I have emerged a stronger and wiser person.

On a lighter note, take a look at my beautiful Grand-daughter Jaz, now four years old and riding her pony Butterscotch. She is such a princess but has brought much joy and laughter through the sadder times. Her favourite color is pink (go figure!) All she wanted for Christmas was a pink saddle blanket and boots for her pony!
You will be seeing a lot more of hearfelt bears this year. We have several magazine projects on the drawing board and numerous new patterns, keep an eye on my website for new bears, gollies, dolls and bear paraphanalia for sale.
